Super jarring to suddenly have Guy POV. I’m not a fan. I was happy in my single person POV.

Seriously, my one single complaint about this book is that the “restaurant that smelled bad” had to be a vegan restaurant. It was because of an accident with moldy mushrooms. It could’ve been any restaurant. Yet it’s the vegan one, as if vegan restaurants smell bad.

I can’t put my finger on why but this has been such an immersive read so far. Such an atmosphere. I feel Ian’s feelings, about London and his disillusioned dreams. It aches, feels wistful. And somehow also hopeful. I’m really enjoying it.
