weirdly anti-communist ? two out of nowhere attacks on revolutionary china and the ussr so far ! even at one point comparing james I to stalin ??
also the writing style is medicore.
otherwise alright and informative. was hoping for a more indepth analysis but using it as a "peoples history" intro to scotland makes it a worthwhile read so far !
