I finally read the most heartbreaking death in the history of queer Harry Potter fanfiction. The worst part is I did it to myself. I knew when I started this that he was going to die. There's no happy endings, just tears and a story that took me 3 years to finish the tragic ending. I'm so close to being done, but it's so sad. I'm not supposed to feel this much raw emotion over fanfiction.

I've made it to the canon event. The first of the major character deaths. I knew Regulus had to drown, but I'm still not ready for it.
