Happy to be back in this world. I just forgot how much of a slog I find the first 150 pages 😬

Time for a re-read of this baby! My bestie is reading it for the first time, so I need a refresh so we can talk about it!

I am so glad I gave this another chance because I am having such a good time with it! The first 150ish pages were still rough for me to get through. The threshing scene is what made me finally fall into the story and it's been amazing ever since!

Dain still annoys the fuck out of me, and I still have some issues with some of the sub-plot choices Rebecca made but over all I'm loving it!

I fucking love the dragons. I was smiling and cackling during the threshing! I think I'm finally getting into this baby.

Well, I made it past the part where I DNF'd the first time, so things are looking up. I really want to love this as much as everyone else, so hopefully, when we get more Xaden and dragons, I will like it more.

This is not doing much for me at the moment. I'm hoping it'll pick up when we get more dragons.

I really want to love this one like everyone else does. Hopefully I can get into it this time!
