I guess that's another problem I have with anthologies. There is a lot of telling rather than showing. Lots of "MC explains everything about her in one or two pages because this is a short story dangit!"

Oooohh, I did like those last two stories though!

Given the subject matter, I should absolutely be loving this. But it's just not grabbing me. :( The stories are wrapped up too quickly, with barely enough time to really love the characters.

This is my problem with anthologies. Some of the stories feel more like teasers, and I want to know what happens AFTER it ends. :T
