More eye rolling... Why does everyone Evie know sound like a therapist. I mean, everyone who gives her advice sounds like a Dear Abby advice columnist. It's a bit unrealistic. What happened to "Life's hard. buy a helmet" (Boy Meets World). And... Evie just HAPPENS to be friends with a sexual abuse victim. Hmm...

A little ticked off right now...finally we have a major reveal and where there should be an oh my God, eye to eye moment, he flips her and bangs hers from the back like it's a regular day. IT'S NOT!! Make me feel the emotion, damnit!

Almost 3/4 done and we still know absolutely nothing about him

I wish I liked this but I roll my eyes in almost every chapter. It bugs me how Evie just agrees to everything Jake wants. I realize girls jump into bed with men they don't know all the time but in my book world I'd like to see them have to work for it. Just because he says the right words now doesn't mean he won't break you later. Pessimistic...Two dates and a bedroom romp and you still don't really know him?!?
