Goodreaders, does the site have a "fiction with an author as a character" list in listopia? I thought for sure that would exist but I'm not finding one...

There are tons of books with Jane Austen and Lord Byron and that gang and even Agatha Christie as characters..

I see what you mean. More Secret Window, Little Women, et al, less historical figures as characters. Grant Morrison does this in meta fashion with a couple of his series to comment on the creator-character relationship, but that’s a bit different than what you’re requesting. Your interest is in writers as characters as a narrative device?
