rebecca (the love interest) WHOMST our mc has had just 1 full conversation with in the nearly 160 pgs i’ve read thus far, shows up at our mc’s house (which is in a whole other country) and they, quite unceremoniously, have sex with each other?
and then our mc, who is shockingly insufferable, picks a fight with rebecca over the STATUS OF THEIR RELATIONSHIP….?????

more than 50% into the book and there hasn’t been a so much as a touch between the mc and the love interest? there’s also been little to no dialogue between them….REALLY hoping it picks up cause as of now the only way i know that rebecca is in fact the love interest is 1. cause it says so on the book and 2. the almost uncomfortable objectification of her by the mc…

like i get that the whole U haul thing is a thing and don’t get me wrong, i have been there (rip) but this is simply insane and glaringly disjointed😭😭😭 am i missing something??
