Ehh... it feels so slow - a lot of words with little action. Most of what's happening appears flat and insignificant. And the main relationship, you know, between the main character and the shadow king (what the book is named after!), yeah... didn't feel anything, not a one single thing. I haven't
yearn for for their romance. I more question why they should be together.

I found the book with the cover that does NOT make it look like a cheap romance with no character. I am not having high expectations, but I find myself keep reading it sooooo... not terrible?
