Each book is written by a different author which is so unique and fun. So far each has been cozy type with a mystery in a magical town. This one involves a wolf shifter and a girl he knew as a child. Her parents died so her grandparents took her away from the town and her grandfather that she had been living with as they felt he was too old and fanciful with all his tales of supernatural to raise a 6yr old.
