This is literally the most therapeutic book ever omg. I feel so seen after reading the ways in which shame gets ingrained in queer identity after being reinforced by societal scenes. It's so important to have the words that explain why we struggle so much with our image and self-esteem.I realize now shame has been everywhere in my life and just being able to finally name it and separate it from who I am is empowering
