I think that the voice of gorgoneion is making me think of a lot of persecution against women today. Like the severing the head is a metaphor for a man doing something to a woman after which she will be irreparably damaged. And then the Gorgonion narrator is reminiscent of the way, a woman might think and feel after that damage.
But I don’t know I’m not very smart.
