it is embarrassingly late to realise how I'm heartily using an app connected to one of the biggest surveillance capitalists to update the entire world on my reading progress on this book about surveillance capitalism

finally not binge-reading a book, so I have actual coherent thoughts now. so far

1) zuboff seems to take for granted that the reader agrees with her. and of course, I do. I'd like it carved out, though. I'd like it explained precisely why surveillance capitalism is oppressive. so far, she's telling me how, why, what. But I want to know, exactly what is the harm?

2) distracting typos (:

Because the title has 11 syllables in just two words and the book is 785 pages and maybe, just maybe, things haven't been tough enough lately so I'll just cRaNk iT uP for my examz
