Slow burn. It’s well written with well thought out character development & interesting supporting characters. However I feel that for a slow burn romance you gotta give me more than a fade to black “implied” love scene. Only then to go into graphic detail about the assault, torture & disfiguring of certain characters? This imbalance makes for a less rewarding read.
