Katniss loses another person (and the worst is yet to come.) If it’s not the tragic death of a loved one, it’s someone she admires and respects. There’s all kinds of tragedy afoot.

Gale is such an ass.

One of the few ways I think the movie adaptation outdoes the book is their inclusion of more Effie. I wish she was on page in Mockingjay frequently, like she was in Catching Fire.

I love having Buttercup back on the page.

They can fatten me up. They can give me a full body polish, dress me up, and make me beautiful again. They can design dream weapons that come to life in my hands, but they will never again brainwash me into the necessity of using them.

I just love this series so much.

Sleep is tempting. But so is the next chapter.
