I need to learn more about this man so I can speak to the history of this book with more certainty because you KNOOOOW I’ve got things to say!

Took me a while to get into, but I am fascinated by the lame hero (or perhaps anti-hero? He's certainly not doing anything heroic) that is Eugene Hartke. The more he talks, the more stories he tells, the more human he seems.
