I didn't read this book back in 2017 because I'd heard some very negative things, but I decided to give it a go after I quite liked a Sorcery of Thorns.

1. Yes, the love interest kidnaps her for a brief period at the start.
2. Why is the main charter 17? It would just make way more sense for her to be 25 and also make the weird fair one age difference less bad cause at least she'd be an adult.
