I'll finish this book aaaany day now... aaaany day...

I'm still trying to decide if this book makes me feel more depressed or hopeful. I guess the positive just doesn't feel quite realistic with the news we have been bombarded with in the last few years.

I feel like watching the news right now proves genocide is still doing a lot better than I'd hope based on this book... we're really going backwards again, aren't we.

Reading this books reminds me how little I actually know/remember about history. But I guess I'm getting a nice refresher on some things while reading.
