Findings so far: 1. no book needs more than 300 pages to get the point across, 2. Mackie did an attempt to make the main character look extremely intelligent and 'different' but it only turned out pretentious af. Lowkey enjoying the read, but investment in the story is low. I will at least push myself to read til page 150 before I officially decide to put down the book lol.
