Despite me claiming this series and Percy as one of my all time favorite books and characters, I honestly don’t think I’ve reread this since middle school. So I’m very excited to do so now before the new show premiers.

In Percy’s defense, Chiron and Mr. D do a terrible job of explaining the whole situation to him. They did not give a fuck. Annabeth had to tell him what a half blood is! I feel like people often want to characterize Percy as being clueless and silly, when really he’s a 12 year old who just found out polytheism is real. Can you blame him?!
