That awkward feeling when you find yourself removing books from your TBR instead of adding to it πŸ₯΄

Leslie Ann I've started doing this and it feels so weird. A lot of them were added based on off hand recs from different social media platforms. I started actually looking up the synopsis of some of them and am realizing I would probably hate the books. Maybe now I will actually get through some of my physical TBR.

DIVINITY🌙 I do this all the time! No shame πŸ˜‚

RLbooks (in and out) It can be fun! Cull them and then maybe tomorrow add a bunch to replace them πŸ‘€

Ok but some quotes really do be making a book seem really good 🀑 but sometimes it turns out the quote was the only good thing πŸ˜‚

Definitely nothing wrong with tastes changing. Mine certainly have since I started my reading journey, doesn’t make it easier being a mood reader. πŸ˜‚

Feels super weird! I was thinking most of my TBR would be dealt with by completing or moving it to a DNF pile but never really thought I’d be removing them like this πŸ˜‚

No shame just weirded me out, I think I need to follow RL’s lead and create a β€˜maybe’ shelf instead of using my TBR as my maybes lol

Out with the old, in with the new!
Sadly I feel like I haven’t been adding as many books as I used to, I might be nearing another slump 😭

You need to demand your friends read faster to screen and recommend books! πŸ˜‚

I also definitely recommend that "maybe" shelf. It's a psychological game I play with myself but it does feel good to have it anyway.

I wish I could just hook up a USB to my brain and have it create a pile for me of books that fit my tastes πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
A maybe shelf feels so intimidating to me cos I think I’d only use that instead of my TBR πŸ˜‚

I get it lol. I kind of do a mix but sometimes I do pull more from the maybe shelf cause I'm too curious πŸ˜‚
