The Christmas Fruit Bowl, by Erika Mathews
Personal rating: 3/5 stars
This was a sweet story. I liked all of the little cousins and Auntie Beth encouraged me in several of her conversations with her nieces and nephews. I liked how the author wove the fruits of the Spirit into her Christmas story, not to mention all of those scrumptious desserts sounded very good!

An Auntie for Christmas, by Hannah Foster
My personal rating: 4/5 stars
A really cute story that pulled at my heart strings. I felt for Jasmine as she struggled to forgive her brother and seek to be content with where God has placed her in life. I really liked the Haywood family as a whole and oh! The Anne of Green Gables comment was great!!

He Is Still Emmanuel
By Rebekah A. Morris

I really liked this story and I was really happy to see a character from a previous story in this collection featured as one of the main characters. I also appreciated the reminder that God is always with us. I only have one story left and I’m going to be quite sad to say goodbye to Homewood. 🩵

Absolutely LOVED this story in the collection! Such an interesting setting with the main girl being a mechanic and I loved Magda’s love for her nieces and nephews. I thoroughly enjoyed this story! Well done, Ms. Thompson! 👏

Room in the Manger? By Hannah Griggs
Personal Rating: 5/5 stars
LOVED this story!!! My favorite of the collection thus far. I really liked this author’s writing style and the setting was quite interesting! I also really liked Esther and Peter. I felt for how short the story was, the author accomplished the plot line well. Fun fact that’s a slight spoiler: I had a great-aunt named Peggy Ann. 😊

Finished Star of Bethlehem, by Courtenay Burden. 3.5 stars. A lovely story. I really loved all of the aunts, but the newest aunt is just a little extra special. 🩵 And Earnest was very endearing. This author definitely has a sweet way of telling a cozy story!
