... What is wrong with me

I'm really invested in the mystery.

THE INCONSISTENCY IRKS MEEEE. I swear he thought something along the lines of not enjoying all the sounds that accompany torture and death. That he didn't get off on that shit because he wasn't that much of a psycho and now the crunch of bone is nearly orgasmic? Like pick a personality, mate

You know what it is that bothers me. Its when scenarios happen that feel made up for a purpose. Of course as a writer we do this, but when you can tell when you read the book... It takes away from my ability to immerse myself in the world. When in quick succession multiple people say and do things that feel unlikely or off, but it builds character... It ticks me off. It doesn't feel smooth. It feels fake &unrealistic

I don't get how his brain works? How can he be so protective and nice and all that but then also basically make it his mission to terrify a woman himself? Like, sure thats twisted but its also just weird like errr... How do you rationalise this behaviour sir.

Why am I not more disturbed by this lol I wonder how I'll feel later on.
