Not what I was expecting. I do realize now that I’ve been reading the title wrong since day one so that might have something to do with it lol. This story is a lot more complex than I was ready for but- even though it doesn’t dumb itself down for the reader- it presents the science and mechanics in a way that I think makes sense.

This was an… interesting read. I’m not sure how well I followed all of it but I enjoyed the parts I did understand. I especially enjoyed the overarching connections in some of the stories. This might not be the first book in the series but I don’t think that really matters. Who knows? 6.5/10
