1/29: My book that i'm reading is "The Quest". Because Katniss really wants to kill president Snow and to avenge her sister Prim. So she goes threw all these obstacles to finally kill the right person to avenge her sister. So she had a quest to kill the person and she eventually achieved this.

1/22: The main support character is Gale and they are the main characters protector. Also Gale is the most relied on by the main character Katniss. On page 326 it says "Then Gale could shoot him from the audience". Showing that Katniss really needs Gale in this book.

1/8: Katniss from the book "Mockingjay" has a lot in common with me. Like the matter of fact that she would do anything to protect her sister and I also have a sister! Also, the districts in the book remind me of when the Chinese back in the day separated into districts. One last thing is that the book reminds me of Star Wars because of all the futuristic technology. That's how I'm making connections with the book.

In the Mockingjay I visualize how badly Katniss wants to kill President Snow because it says. "All that's left is my promise to kill Snow. I tell myself this ten times a day." I see that she really wants to kill Snow and wants to do it right away.

Characterization: Katniss is dark with what she thinks. She usually thinks about all the death and pain that has happen instead of the few good moments in her family. On page 22 it says "in the past two days, sixteen people have died" this shows that she rarely thinks about happy things and only dark dreadful things. Like when the people died in the arena and in their districts.

The antagonist in my book is President Snow. He is going against my character because he runs the capital and trying to kill Katniss. He is also a bad guy in the book because he kills lots of people.

Mocking-jay has 3 genres. Dystopia because the world is not right and the rules are worse. Science fiction because it takes place in the future with futuristic technology. Finally action/adventure because the main character has to go through problems that have a lot of action.
