Really interesting how the text mentions: "one must drink from the [river] of forgetfulness" in order to enter the material world, and drink from the river of memory when leaving the material world, to reconnect/remember our archetypal nature. Definitely demands a re-read to know what he's talking about enough to explain it to someone, but I know what he's getting at through the myth(s).
