I really like how the author got a ton of different opinions before writing this book, and his interview with Mark Nesbitt was pretty interesting. I really like that he wrote this book with a journalistic approach, and that he told us he was a skeptic before getting into everything. I found this book very entertaining, and although I’m not sure I believe in ghosts, I liked hearing what the author had to say.

Woohoo! This book is SO interesting to me! The author and his grandson reflecting on their Gettysburg trip was really cool, and their experience taking pictures at the Alabama monument was also really neat! I’m not sure if I believe those orbs were spirits, but it’s still something cool to think about. It’s also really cool that they narrowed down the supposed spirit they were talking to to a specific person!

Oh my gosh, this is so freaking cool! It’s nice that before we hear about the paranormal events, he tells us about what they did on their trip, and things that led to their investigation. But the paranormal investigation at the bridge was SO cool! I’m not sure I believe in ghosts, but I think that experience is crazy! And if they’re telling the truth, they could’ve really been talking to a Civil war captain!

The dream examples the author talked about were SUPER cool, especially the ones about the death of family members. It’s crazy how people’s dreams can be so connected to real life events. It was also really neat to go back to the topic of the authors house. I find it really interesting that he lives in a haunted house, and hearing about all of his and other people’s experiences are super cool to me.

It was awesome to hear about the authors trip to Gettysburg! A lot of the places he was talking about, I had been to, so that was super cool to read about. His cameras malfunctions were really cool, and it’s crazy that it only stopped working when he took pictures of Union monuments! This book is super interesting to me, and I can’t wait to keep reading!

I really like this guy’s writing style, and I liked getting to learn about his journaling background! Him giving us a tiny snippet of his haunted bridge experience was cool because it gets you hooked on the book. So far, the little paranormal things he has experienced have been pretty cool, especially the one about his grandma. Can’t wait to keep reading!
