Very good. Comparing against 3 other introductory textbooks (Samara, Sherin, Dabner), this is by far the more thorough coverage of design elements and principles. I really like the examples of practical application to achieve unity, emphasis, depth, etc.

Skipping around for what I need. Surprisingly most of the examples are from fine art.
