Oh no, it ends in mystery! I actually have no idea what happened at the very end. But more in a, I think the author had a definite idea that didn’t quite communicate, as opposed to, creating an open ending and leaving it up to the reader, kind of way.

Better than expected, probably because I wasn't expecting much. I assumed, since it's kind of obscure, that this Destiny-themed Sandman spinoff must not be very good. Two thirds of the way through and I am enjoying it. Maybe it loses its way in the final act? Fine art, perhaps a touch of zeerust (published in 1995, set in a plague-ridden 2009). Post-disaster, melancholy, woman-driven = kind of cool.
