I'm re-reading Blood into Wine because I'm working on a prequel to this book. Stain of Blood will take place in San Francisco. Renzo will face a new villain, one who is charming and has a great deal of finesse. Victor Martin is a worthy opponent for Inspector Dante. I'm enjoying being back with my heroes - Renzo and Jackie.
