Hmmm...I'm getting over hyped vibes from this one like The Last House on Needless Street which I hated. Because I hate this so far, the main character is thoroughly dislikeable and it's not at all horror. Does it improve?

So I'm 99% on what is really happening in the book/the twist but I have another like 7 hours to go to find out 🥴 I am still hoping it will surprise me but if it's what I think it's very tediously predictable
