Interesting that those 7 days left such an impact on their lives to the extent of them confessing their love for each other all these years later after 2-3 recent “hangouts”.

Back on my reading grind! It’s cool.

Writing is easy to follow along with. I’m just not sure if it’s my favorite style. I think I may just have had an image in my head about what these characters would be like before reading, which isn’t the best thing to do! I’m still in it though. I like hearing about Eva’s matriarchal history. 👍🏽

Writing is starting to seem a little in real. Maybe it’s a bit forced? I’m having a hard time really sitting with these younger characters.

Not sure how I feel about the whole “finding love in a hopeless place” type of vibe it has going on either. I’m still sticking with it though!

I don’t know if I’m as invested into this relationship as I thought I’d be. I like the characters, but maybe it’s the writing of their dialogue that seems a bit off.

Like it’s missing a piece to the puzzle. I guess I just don’t like how Shane is written as awkward as he is - it’s a bit much. I feel like he should be chill and more self assured. Almost like a yin and yang to Eva. ☯️

Read 50 pages in one sitting. Time flew by!
