I need Malcolm "being gay is an aesthetic" "race is something you stop noticing in college" to shut the fuck up.

I know he's likely going to be ace rep or something. I can feel it in my bones. But I can feel it's going to suck.

So far this is giving me flashbacks to being 15 years old and trying to plow through extremely problematic Dutch "classics" for oral exams in high school.

That's not a good thing.

Going in, I'd heard some criticism from the black community about Hanya. I now understand where that criticism came from. Don't know why she felt compelled to write about black people this way but it feels off.
