Not really sure what to make of this so far. There's parts that I love, and parts I'm deeply confused by. I've not worked out if I enjoy the style of writing- if the metaphors are stylish or clumsy and overcooked. Maybe that's the charm of it? Let's see. I started my new job today, I think I'm going to like it there. It's basically professional hanging out #win

I started reading this yesterday. I had to run some chores in Chorlton and brought this with me to read on the tram. I bumped the tram and although there are only two stops between Burton Road and Chorlton, I felt too nervous to read. The wool shop I needed to visit had run out of wool. I spent £6 on cheesecake from Barbican. Perhaps Bell Hooks was wrong, perhaps in some special cases love and violence can co-exist.
