Dawn Ebbrell’s Reviews > The Lost Child of Philomena Lee: A Mother, Her Son and A Fifty-Year Search > Status Update

Having loved the film which focused its attention on Philomena, I was perturbed by negative reviews. It focuses almost entirely on the life of Michael.A. Hess (ne Anthony Lee) and the psychological effects of being left in ignorance to figure out why he was abandoned (which of course he wasn't, he was sold to the highest bidder by the Catholic Church and his coerced terrified mother given no choice).
