I’ve read this lots of times but this is my first time listening to the audiobook. Nina has the worse accent I’ve ever heard. It baffles me that this book was recorded and produced apparently without anyone pointing out the narrator couldn’t do an authentic English accent. I think it’s supposed to be posh English but the pronunciation is all wrong and so jarring.

The narrator can definitely make or break a book, even stories you like.☹️😡

Isn’t something how much narration can impact how you feel about a book? There’s a few poor narrations I just can’t seem to push aside the influence their voice had on how I felt about the character. Regardless of the writing quality.
