So I feel really funny about consent right now (as it pertains to medical research), but this was a great book. Consider making a donation to the scholarship fund set up for Henrietta's descendants at HenriettaLacksFoundation.org so they can have an education previous generations couldn't afford.

Not hard to tell which names are white and which are black. So many varying degrees of privilege, and the Lacks family doesn't have any.

Bioethics refresher! It's amazing and horrific to remember the way experiments were conducted. So many innovations and so many violations of rights and privacy.
