How is it almost done? I'm STRESSED 😭😭😭 the whole fellowship is together and yet they're under the mountain right now. I'm not looking forward to what is coming. 3 I'm also surprised a lot of characters from the movies don't seem to have a lot of story in this book...? Like they're just there.

I always forgot Aragorn wasn't always Aragorn LOL. God I love Strider though and Sam. Now that a lot of the world building has eased up, so much easier to follow. And now is when it's starting to get so tense.

I love that we have Merry now and we find out the truth of his friends and how much they adore and are willing to protect Frodo 🥹🫶🏼 its so sweet.

Goodness, I love Sam and Pippin so much.

Oh man. I don't think a book has ever made my head ache before from trying to process all of the information and countless characters thrown so quickly. I've always loved The Hobbit and LOTR growing up so thought I'd bite the bullet for the books. Suffering but it's not too bad. I just need to constantly reread and check my notes.
