This vignette is about a man w/ no regrets but 1. His lifestyle + the way it compliments his wife’s is interesting. She holds a cherished view but his children resent his absence.
The end is both touching + frustrating. It is beautiful to see the tenderness that he holds despite his detachment & curiosity. // novel point coffee

After about a year I found myself picking this up again. This series is near & dear to my heart but I hit a bit of a slump w/ this one. However, I think it was just meant to find me now.
This vignette touched me deeply sometimes it isn’t until it’s too late in some ways do we understand. We may not be able to change the past but we can sure let it change our future.

Gratitude. I absolutely love the way these stories are curated to show how impactful perspective can be even when things don’t change.
I love the animal aspect of this one and the sweet reminder of the gift of all living creatures and creation’s interconnected nature.
