I feel like this was a little slow to get going but boy, I cannot put this down; It's incredible! Suanne Laqueur is such a gifted writer. Some of these scenes are so intricately described and so beautifully rendered they have me in tears. I don't feel like I'm reading about these characters I feel like I'm one of them.
