Stunning story so far! The end of Part I takes a very unexpected turn, after chapters on chapters of bitterness and hatred. The idea that God could work on the heart of a man like Louis is hard to fathom - but I feel like that’s what’s happening. Can’t wait to see where Part II takes this new theme!

The first installment of Dr. Zalar’s Catholic Themes in Literature course. I wasn’t sure what to expect from this book, but I’ve been surprised by the engaging writing style, and have found it hard to put down, even though it covers a bit of a difficult topic. Looking forward to seeing where this goes! (and more exciting class discussions on it ;)
