How are you liking this one so far? None of my Goodreads friends have read it yet so I'm interested to hear your thoughts on it. I want it to be as good as the Hollows books lol.

She made sort of a bummer FB post yesterday saying that sales have been bad.
Still got 20% to go. But to be fair, the first Hollows book was hard for me to get into as well (though things did pick up for me when she was stuck in Trent's office) so that's not always an indicator that I'll never like it. I hear toward the end things are interesting, but I'm kinda ready to just get there already, lol. Hopefully I'll have this wrapped up by the weekend.
I did see her post about that, it was definitely a bummer. I'll still give it a try even if the reviews are bad because who knows maybe I will like it. It took me a bit to get into the Hollows series at first as well, but I eventually got sucked in and came to love the characters.

This is supposed to be a trilogy so there won't be as much time to get invested. I'm honestly okay about it because The Hollows characters gave me enough fictiona character grief for a lifetime lol.
