So some chinese dwarf in a mask offers to teach Soramaru advanced sword training, Tenka is possible Orochi's tool and there is the worst killer of the Fuma clan... this is actually interesting. I plan to read the third volume.
Like I said, this is a big improvement over volume 1.

Why did they explain what a tanuki is? They did it last volume. Plus it is once again wrongly defined as only belong to Japanese folklore. As if its not a real animal. I don't even know why they don't just call it a raccoon dog. We have them here as well after all:

So Soramaru does want to catch up to his brother and it was done smoothly via story and then adressed with fitting training artwork... then what was volume 1 and ist longwinding dialogues about that with some random rogue samurai good for????

This was so far a whole lot better than the first volume. In fact it highlights how useless volume 1 was for the story so far. We get all necessary introduction and exposition here. Plus there is no evidence that Sora wants to surpass Tenka.
PS. The assassin Naoto has a ridiculously huge sword that he could have never hide anywhere. Which is odd since no one else has such weapons.
