Continues to be an excellent read, very educational both about Parker's "places" and about the history of New York City.

Continues to be really a good read. The chapter I just read gave the history of all the old, beautiful theatres that existed in Parker's time and have been demolished to make room for parking lots and office buildings. Sad.

The first book in my self-assigned Dorothy Parker reading project. So far I'm enjoying it immensely. Great photos, sidebars with facts and such, and informative text.
