I give up. I'm past the 10% mark which is what I give all books before I give up on them, if I do. I've been checking the % mark of this one after every few pages I've read. It is not a good sign.

I get the opening is set up for the rest of the story ... But ... Anyway, telling ...

I hate when books start like this. It's a sensitive taboo subject for me personally and I hate that so early on in the book it's making me cry. I can't stand that kind of grief.
