well im almost done with the book, all 126% of it 😋

I thought I marked my progress as page 88, then I saw that my bookmark was on page 85, and I was like "Whoa! i think I'm going backwards" haha

Unrelated to this, today I remembered how when I was younger, I used to be so vicious against people who didn't want to work together haha

I felt we all had expectations that could be met, and no one deserved special treatment haha

Growth and development for the win!

85 pages in and I think I figured out the theme to the book.

I noticed that "Hatchet" by Gary Paulsen seems to be about adjusting and overcoming extreme odds.

"Echo" on the other hand, seems to be about self reflection and personal growth.

Some early thoughts: the momentum's not the same as Hatchets, but to be fair, my first read of Hatchet a few years ago felt the same way.
