I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I'm not an Austen scholar, so I'm not bothered by any inconsistencies between this book and P&P. It's obviously written by a modern author, but she's taken pains to use the language structure of the time. She let's this style slip just a little toward the end of the book, but it's forgivable, at least by me. I know I'll re-read this book.
