The story already had a personal drama and a political drama. Well, Bravo Adams wasn't happy with only that and added a natural disaster to the mix.

I tip my hat.

It was nice of Renato to accept his defeat. Also I think he was never interested in Campo Real, we never saw what he really wanted, he only followed his mother's expectations.

Nice of Bravo Adams to remember Aimee at the end too. She was a bitch but still...

Now I know a little more about Martinica history. How powerful nature is that by itself stopped the political and romantic plots.

I feel like Renato is too tired and he's just gonna give up about Monica after he sees Monica and Juan together.

Renato's descent into villainy is almost complete. I think one true cruel act remains but it's in its course.

The climax has been exciting. We are with like four different fronts and all of them are intense.

The kiss was a disappointing.

"I want to have children and when they are born they will find a better world, achieved with these hands". That's inspiring.

I like that kind of magic where the events occur by non supernatural reasons. Kuma died and the workers revolt until they killed her murderers.

This book is going to give me the confession until the very end, isn't it?

The story has played with the mount Peele making an eruption like three times. I remember the mount didn't make an eruption until like 20 years later but this is fiction of course.

Strike from a group of workers due the high taxes the landlord demands then the government and the army always siding with the rich against the poor is the kind of critic to the system we already saw in the previous book.

How can I take seriously a man whose mother is always after him?

What the heck is this thing about being forced to stay in the devils cape? Did Juan kill the landlord who kept the little town there poor? This thing really came from nowhere.

I think it's time for Monica to stand for herself. In all conversations between her and Juan he is the one who has the lead.

All the events that this death has produced. Even Kuma could pay.

The soap operas that portray the rich as weak are the best.
