Does anyone have any recommendations for books with a snowy setting that were written by Black authors? Or just by authors of color in general? I'm in a wintry mood but have only been able to find snowy settings written by mostly white authors, and I'd like to have more diverse reads than that, particularly as it's Black History Month.

Not a Black author, but a great book by a BIPOC author is Moon of the Crusted Snow by Waubgeshig Rice.

I read it last month and it was sooo good! Thank you for the rec (and if you happen to think of any others, I would be grateful to hear them!).
The other thought that belatedly came to me is Jasmine Guillory's Royal Holiday, which uh. I would not recommend as the best book ever? But which does feature two Black characters having an adorable later-in-life romance amidst a snowy English Christmas (and a lot of royal family apologia). So...mixed bag, but nice wintry atmosphere for sure!
Love later in life romance! Royal family apologia, not so much. But it does occur to me that I have read rather a lot of regency novels, so maybe if I just turn my brain off similarly, I'll enjoy it. The Christmas mood has left me for this winter, but I'll check it out when Christmas time rolls around again. Thank you!
