Hilarious to hear collaborators from his TV years (Ching Siu-tung, Ringo Lam, John Woo, Johnnie To) talk of Tsui, all of them saying he was brilliant but nobody wanted to work with him since he was an odd fellow who had endless ideas that nobody could understand.

-Biggest films of his childhood: Disney films (Snow White in particular) and Godzilla.
-First movie he saw on a date was The Love Eterne.
-His father threatened suicide when he found out Tsui was actually going to America to study film, and not medicine.
-Former boss of his first post-uni job described him as having long hair and smelling like he had not bathed in several days.
